Post by: Alabama-Shrimp on March 14, 2009, 03:38:05 PM
i know the date base tryes to be as accurate as possable with all regions/countrys a game is released in, but what happnes with the download only game?

As in how do we know they are diffrent between countrys or regions?

so i want to add to my gameslist the very few download games i own, do i put them as the the North Americsan ersions? or do i add the game to the database for England or Europe?

Downloadable titles in most cases are region-wide. So they are added as North American, European, etc etc not country specific.

In North America, all downloadable titles are region wide and I imagine Europe is the same way. Even with certain countries in Europe that censor and ban certain games, we'll still use region-wide anyway as one country isn't enough to warrant selecting 20 specific countries instead.

Short answer is Europe region-wide for European downloadable titles, and no they don't need Part/UPCs either. :)
