Title: Crazy Auction for the rare Bandai Pippin @WORLD Post by: Marriott_Guy on February 01, 2009, 03:03:03 PM Hello all.
Check out this beast - great packaging and pics for an eBay auction. I have one of these systems, but this price is getting crazy for this console. Check it out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&item=320335377271 This doesn't even include the hefty $85 shipping costs. Whehh... I was looking at picking one up for myself back then, and I want to say that they could be had for less than $200.
Congrats to that guy for getting top dollar. That's an impressive price. Title: Re: Crazy Auction for the rare Bandai Pippin @WORLD Post by: Ghost Soldier on February 02, 2009, 12:47:22 PM Wow

It seems the market has skyrocketed for these for some unknown reason. The same seller had a @WORLD Japanese release auction just end yesterday with a BIN of $1.5K USD. The reserve was never met.Congrats to that guy for getting top dollar. That's an impressive price. I never did pick one up because, frankly, I don't know what I'd ever do with it, and $200 is a lot to spend on something that I'd never use. I sort of wish I would have now :/ Oh well. Guess I'll add it to the list of the 'things that got away.' Title: Re: Crazy Auction for the rare Bandai Pippin @WORLD Post by: Izret101 on February 09, 2009, 08:09:37 PM Jesus.
It doesn't sound like its deserving of that kind of price tag. Just how rare are these? Title: Re: Crazy Auction for the rare Bandai Pippin @WORLD Post by: gamepopper101 on March 02, 2009, 04:55:06 PM :speechless: That's one serious auction.
But really...why did Apple and Bandai create the Pippin if they had very little gaming experience and so little games. I mean the games in that auction were mainly Anime licensed games anyway.
