Title: Re: The Non-game Collectors list Post by: XFactorInfinity on January 07, 2009, 07:26:37 PM And here I thought this was going to be a thread for collectors of Animal Crossing, The Sims, and Second Life.
Oh, zing. Title: Re: The Non-game Collectors list Post by: Haoie on January 08, 2009, 01:22:12 AM I collect gamebooks [Fighting Fantasy, Lone Wolf, etc].
Wonder what that falls under? Books most likely, but also sort of like tabletop RPGs. Title: Re: The Non-game Collectors list Post by: Tan on January 08, 2009, 02:58:36 AM I collect gamebooks [Fighting Fantasy, Lone Wolf, etc]. Wonder what that falls under? Books most likely, but also sort of like tabletop RPGs. http://www.goodreads.com/ has quite a few Fighting Fantasy, Lone Wolf & other gamebooks in it's database. Just from a quick search I'd say most of not all of them reaching well past 300-400+ entries. If you apply for "Librarian status", you can add any that are missing as well as upload scans of the front covers. Think of it as the RFGen of books, just not as cool. 8) Also good for strategy guides as well, I have 33 of those listed on there myself. :) Title: Re: The Non-game Collectors list Post by: Izret101 on January 09, 2009, 05:04:49 PM You already have my books up, which needs to really get updated... so here is my DVDs

Title: Re: The Non-game Collectors list Post by: Vectorguy on October 27, 2012, 05:38:14 PM I don't have them indexed or anything, but I collect religious pamphlets. Due to having long hair and wearing black a lot I'm usually a target for them. Best ones have typos but I don't run across those too often ;D

You get any of those? I get handed pamphlets from Jehovah's Witness customers at my workplace a couple times a month at least-- some of them in Spanish no less. Due to having long hair and wearing black a lot I'm usually a target for them. Best ones have typos but I don't run across those too often ;D Howzabout those Jack T. Chick comics? You get any of those? Possibly. I just looked him up on Wikipedia and I've got one or two of those types of tracts with the drawings. I don't know if he did those or not, I'll have to go look at some point to see if he did those, as now I'm curious. I get handed pamphlets from Jehovah's Witness customers at my workplace a couple times a month at least-- some of them in Spanish no less. Cool, I wouldn't mind having one or more of those in Spanish ;D Title: Re: The Non-game Collectors list Post by: Crazy_Opossum on February 18, 2013, 02:22:07 PM I don't any pictures of them as of right now, but besides video games I collect:

Title: Re: The Non-game Collectors list Post by: Techie413 on February 18, 2013, 11:04:57 PM i've never heard of librarything, is it good? It's a nice way to catalog your library and there are offers for free reviewers copies of upcoming releases. I just haven't done enough reading lately. Title: Re: The Non-game Collectors list Post by: Shadow Kisuragi on March 25, 2013, 12:27:15 PM I'm in the same boat for MechWarriors/BattleTech. We're thinking of picking up a 3D printer to print out miniatures. :P
Working on cataloging my Strategy Guides http://www.librarything.com/catalog.php?view=Shadow.Kisuragi&offset=0&shelf=shelf I'll eventually be weeding out the duplicates, but if you see any, they'll be for sale/trade. Title: Re: The Non-game Collectors list Post by: Shadow Kisuragi on March 27, 2013, 11:55:55 AM I'm switching over to Shelfari - LibraryThing has a limit once you hit 200, and requires you to pay.

Title: Re: The Non-game Collectors list Post by: RobotWillie on February 27, 2017, 03:17:08 AM Anyone know a good site for cataloging a music collection? Vinyl, CD, and possibly cassette tapes? I used to post on a site called RateYourMusic.com where you could, and of course rate everything you own and wrote reviews too. They had a movie section too.
