Genesis. Even though I love the SNES. :P

I voted NES.  That seemed to shape what video games are today.

I dont think about stuff like that when someone asks me whats best. I just look for the one I have had the most fun with. Now if it was a different question like most important/influential or something like that I'd have picked the NES. I guess I'm just shallow that way.

Genesis. First system I ever had, so I guess I'm biased. But still

I really wanted to pick the Genny since i have so many found memories but there were just so many promising titles on the SNES.
PS2 was a close but definite 3rd.

I think the nostalgic feelings of these systems muck these types of polls up. I love my Nintendo and Sega, but they can't hold a candle to the PS2.

PS2 was alright, but pound for pound the SNES has more of my favorite games and has consumed much more of my time. NES would be second and why is Genesis even on the list..

There have been previous rounds in which the Genesis won, including the semi-finals. So it's only natural it's in the finals, too. :)

The NES gets my vote. I've never liked the SNES, and I only bought a PS2 late last year so I haven't spent much time with the system and I'm pretty surprised the Genesis made it.

Voted for the SNES.  I have much love for the other systems.  SNES got my vote due to the sheer volume of enjoyable RPG's.  I spent many a *sick* day playing FFIII, Secret of Mana, Earthbound, and Chrono Trigger.

SNES for me.  There are many great games that I still LOVE to play on my li'l ole SNES.  But the PS2 is a close second with all them great games and compilations.

Its a three way tie between the NES, SNES, and the Genesis.  One person could be the tiebreaker of all tiebreakers here... :P
