I hope to be able to get a copy at CC tomorrow with a 1600 MS points card (free with purchase per their weekly ad).

I hear a few supermarkets here are selling it for £30 from tomorrow. I would be tempted at that price but I can't afford to buy it right now. :)

I wasn't that big a fan of the original so I'll be waiting until I can pick it up for a good price.

Nevar. I didn't like Gears 1 very much, don't own a 360, and don't plan on getting one for a while.

I'll wait for it to become a bargain at a pawn.

I'll get it once it drops below $20 at Gamestop and I'll probably wait till there's a 360 coupon in the weekly e-mail circular.

The store I went to ran out of 1600 point cards, so they're going to mail it to me. BTW, I made sure to go to one of the stores that's staying in business before buying the game. ;D

So...I guess from the results of this poll I won't be seeing anyone here playing online for awhile. Oh well.

The problem with a game so short as the first one was, is that by the time it hits the "curious & impulsive" price of a bargain binner, it'll no longer be the "in" thing and all the MP goodness will be somewhere else or some other franchise. Then you've basically bought a game you can beat in an afternoon that your friends and the online community at large has moved on from. There goes 3/4 of that games value. Just look at the online for CoD 2 or 3. Very difficult to easily find a great MP game anymore. Short single to concentrate on multi makes these games weekend love affairs after 6 months to a year unless it can manage to stay on the top list for popularity.

What I'm saying is if you truly want to experience a game like this in all it's glory, you have to do it while it's still new to take advantage of that other 3/4 you've paid for.

I wanted to get it tonight. But I have a new job (weekends) and college during the week. I have december off but plenty to do and play already so GOW2 may be awhile even if I do buy it in the next month or so.

There's no option for "When I get a 360", which I would have chosen.

You'll have to set the poll so people can change their vote. (after they already voted) Otherwise hXd won't be able to change it's vote. ;)

Did America get the Limited Edition full size lancer? I saw Gamestation were selling them for £60, or for £30 if bought with the Gears of War 2 game. People are saying it's tacky and cheap quality but a cool thing to have, being a replica. But because of UK gun laws, they had to paint them completely gold. :-\

When editing the poll, there should be a box that you can tick that says "Allow users to change their vote" or something along those lines.

I tried editing one of my own polls to see where it was, but it isn't there. :-\

I guess you can only select that option when creating a poll, not afterwards.
