Post by: Moriya Hanzo on October 07, 2008, 03:53:38 PM
Ya or Na....saw it at goodwill. Looks to have the hookups and some atari 2600 pads.

I would say yes. If it's at Goodwill it is what $20 or less? Plus, at most Goodwills you can take electronics back if they don't work.

Although the games can be tough to find in the wild, I've only ever found 2.

Yes. It's backward compatible with the 2600 so it saves you a hookup on your TV aswell. :)

believe they want $30 but don't quote me on that. Did find some games for $1 apiece too. I may travel back that way.

I'm going to go with a Yay as well.  I'd grab an extra for $30 if I had the chance.

That sounds like a fair price. In what condition was it?

it was in one of those glass cases but lookied to be in pretty good condition. Don't have the money for it at the moment cause i spent way too much the past 2 weeks on game bundles off of craigslist.

I'd definitely buy it if it's in good condition. You don't have to rush to the store just to get it but if it's still there once you have some money, take it. :)

Does it come with the joysticks or the pads? I think that the pads are pretty difficult to come by (I personally have had 4 7800's, and ZERO of the pads. I had to mod up some NES pads to replace the terrible joysticks.). Maybe that would affect your decision to buy or not...

That's mainly because the pads were never released in North America. Kind of sad really, considering that Atari had plenty of time to switch from the Pain-Line sticks to the pads.

Yea, it comes with the joysticks. I don't want it but if someone does i will snag it for cost + shipping. Let me know, i am heading that way next week.
