Title: OMG guys
Post by: hXd on July 18, 2008, 06:56:48 PM
I found Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 at a Gamestop today for $79.99, which I hear is a bargain compared to the people on eBay hocking it for $180.00.

Try again.......... ???

Also this is a Arcade game and I doubt you can get this same game ( which could be runned on 200mhz machine ) into arcade mode with your Coin slot controller

So you just donated 80 bucks to a gamestop for game that you can play online 4 player action for free?

It usually goes for $80-100 on eBay.

Still a great game though, and well worth your time and money.

Also, you aren't making too many friends here, so I'd probably suggest lightening up and not being so negative and combative.

Nice score!

I'm jealous because I don't have have the cash for a real copy of this game. But I will survive with my CD-r Dreamcast version. My 5 year old son and I have been playing a lot of this game lately.

They also have Neo-Geo Coliseum or something like that there. It's Fatal Fury, Samurai Shodown and some other fighting games mixed together. I was gonna pick that up too but I figure that was enough for today.

NeoGeo Battle Coliseum looks good and for $15 I think I will have to pick up a copy. Although I thought Capcom Fighting Evolution would be good because it had characters from five different Capcom fighting games, but that game was so bad I got rid it.

Can you be the least bit positive and nonagumentative?  ???

It's funny, some of these games (like this one) I could see for $5 and would probably pass simply because I don't know what it's worth. That's why I love threads like this one, now I know to watch out for this game.

WOW, had no idea that was worth so much. I think I've seen it once :-\ (not sure anymore though)

It never ceases to amaze me that the game fetchs as much as it does.  That said, I tried for years to get it on the DC but eventualy settled for the x-box version.  Not the best price but that game's definitly fun.  Played it much yet?

That's cheaper than what it usually goes for...at least the PS2 version. It goes for $100 or more on average.

It's been averaging 75-90 lately, so $80 is about right in line with what you'd expect to pay online.

A nice deal, I'd have paid an extra $20 and still gone home happy, though I have (though farely rarely) seen it around for $60-70, but patience waiting for someone willing to sell at that is something I don't have.
I'd tell you the picture is quite frankly frightening, but I'd be making the exact same face for hours, gotto love that game!
