Title: question about a game??? Post by: jamespmt on July 03, 2008, 06:48:52 PM i bought a micro machines nes game when i was in london and
the cart ( http://www.rfgeneration.com/images/collections/jamespmt/micro%20machines%20Europe%20vgc.jpg ) is different than the one in the database ( http://www.rfgeneration.com/images/games/E-027/gs/E-027-S-01390-A.jpg ) whats the difference? Title: Re: question about a game??? Post by: Talen on July 09, 2008, 01:12:23 AM Not an expert about cart variance personally, but the 2nd (from the database), looks like a game genie or Sonic&Knuckles, in that another cart would fit into it. I know the old NES game genie had those plastic flaps to support the other game...or something.
Hope that helps. Title: Re: question about a game??? Post by: hybrid on July 20, 2008, 01:23:32 AM its possible that it was made kinda like super noah's arc for the snes to fit a game into it to bypass the lockout chip.
Title: Re: question about a game??? Post by: RegalSin on July 20, 2008, 10:59:16 AM It is commercial and at the time along with Tetris was a popular thing. correct me if I am wrong but there was a Micromachines cartoon on???
I myself got brainwashed and convinced mother to buy me one of those carwash Micromachines for my cars...which was kind of dumb to begin with since the cars rust after being in water >:( Title: Re: question about a game??? Post by: logical123 on July 20, 2008, 11:43:04 AM It is defiantly a cart variant, and you should submit it as such. Nice find, by the way! ;)

Here you go: http://www.rfgeneration.com/forum/index.php?topic=6955.0 When you get the the part where you add the Variation Title which is underneath the game title, you should name it something like Black cartridge / Picture Label or something fairly descriptive like that. So when people search the database and these two variations of the same game show up, they pick the one that's suitable to what they have. :) Title: Re: question about a game??? Title: Re: question about a game??? Post by: jamespmt on July 22, 2008, 06:50:45 PM me either. on the back it has a little slot for maybe a A-B switch like the Camerica games. but it didnt get used. but the design of the cartridge is unique as far as i know?
Title: Re: question about a game??? Post by: jamespmt on July 23, 2008, 01:14:21 AM thanks for the help i added it into the database.
Title: Re: question about a game??? Post by: James on July 23, 2008, 03:06:38 AM Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy on the NES had the same cartridge. I think it's something to do with the Aladdin Deck Enhancer.
