RF Generation Message Board

My mom got a gameboy and a bunch of games from somebody at work for like $10.  She won't give them to me though, even though I told her I'd pay $20.  shes giving them to my sister for her birthday. I told her she'd turn my sister into an anime freak loser by the time shes in HS and she didn't believe me.

Here the stuff is:

Nsync: get to the show

Dude, I hope your sister gets it and ebays it.  Also, when she gets into HS, I hope she comes to love anime and gets heavy into shota yuri doujin fanfics.

yeah, well the only reason I said that is because there are 4 girls at my school that watch anime and are into vampirism and satanism and all kinds of weird shit like that...I'm a fan of DBZ (which I know some people don't consider real anime) but yeah I don't want her to turn out like that.  I didn't mean to offend anyone by this.

People like that are only freaks when your on the outside looking in.  Your too young to remember it, but it wasnt that long ago that "weird shit" often consisted of playing video games, watching DBZ, or being into star trek/wars.  Have a lil more faith in your sisters judgement and do a bit of growing up yourself.  If they are into anime, even if it's not stuff you like, why not do the most simple of things and actualy speak to them.  Sure, you may not be the most popular kid in class, and you may not win over any new friends, but be original, not another sheep in the crowd.  You may find those freaks are cool.
