Title: Re: RF Generation in Other Languages Post by: dotDarkCloud (dDC) on March 24, 2008, 07:13:51 PM I think it'd be a good idea, but you'd need some strong ties to each language that you launch.
Title: Re: RF Generation in Other Languages Post by: Izret101 on March 25, 2008, 01:36:00 AM It would increase the potential userbase a ton.
How would you manage with the interpersonal language barrier then? Built in translator? Even that wouldn't completely solve the problem do to slang, l33t sp34k, misuse of words, and just general mistranslations Very interested and would like to hear more details :) Title: Re: RF Generation in Other Languages Post by: OatBob on April 09, 2008, 12:03:50 AM I'ld be more interested in being able to add foreign titles in their original language to database first. Otherwise, we would need content contributors to be able to add site content in each language. Sadly, the forums would become segmented, giving different senses of identity to the separate communitites.
It's been answed before, but I'll ask again. How difficult would it be to recode the site for browsing in UTF-8? also, I call dibs on the Español moderatator.
