Title: an NES find I already found
Post by: den68 on January 19, 2008, 02:00:35 PM
I was looking through the database at NES games I didn't have and spotted a few that I was sure that I did. I just double checked my collection and actually came across 15 Nes games that I did not have logged in my collection.

The funny thing is that the first one I came across that I was sure I had was one I actually didn't.

How do I not have Ice Climber?

lol
Congrats?

I'm sure it gets hard having that many games.

I have trouble sometimes and 1/4 the games you have....

Nice, I have done that but I usually find a game or two that I missed.  15 wow..

Sadly I have done the other also and passed on a game that I was sure I had only to find out I was wrong after it was too late!!

Ice Climber isn't all the easy to get believe it or not!

I'm not saying it's at all rare, but it's not common like Top Gun or Pro Wrestling.  Ice Climber wasn't as wildly popular as some of the other black box games.

I've only got one copy now(loose) i got from a "friend" I'm not sure of the condition but if you want it I'm sure we can work out some kinda deal. I'm not overly interested in NES stuff right now...

Something i thought was strange when i had a ton of NES games was:
Top Gun and Pro Wrestling had 2+ variations each. Every copy i've owned so far had a different label.

I don't have any Mortal Kombat stuff to trade. If you want to just sell it to me, PM me a price. Or let me know what you are interested in.

I just found Resident Evil 3 for the PS1, which I didn't know I had. So I went through my PS1 boxes and found some more unknown games. Shows how much I play them.

I think I have the same problem. I upon checking a couple of days ago, my rfgen count listed 140, while my actual count came out to be 148 unique games. I'm up to 144 now but theres still 4 games I haven't accounted for yet.

I just went through my small collection... I thought I had 239 games, turns out I have 265.  I don't know how I missed that many.

With as many games as you have den I'm not surprised. I guess that's the bad part about having such a big collection; keeping track of it all.

Hell you can save on gas money and hunt in you own house and find missing stuff!
