Title: Re: EB has redeemed themselves Post by: Izret101 on October 18, 2004, 08:07:31 PM I think you should stop tearing the thread away from my awesomely cool stuff. I like the hat, the shirt is kinda big but its cool, and the beenie well it's a beenie and I already have my Yankees one i wear.
:ninja: Title: Re: EB has redeemed themselves Post by: den68 on October 19, 2004, 05:39:23 AM does your beanie have a propeller on it?
Title: Re: EB has redeemed themselves Post by: Lord Nepenthean on October 19, 2004, 05:45:18 AM One thing that always sucks for me about video game shirt promos is that they are almost exclusively made in XL. Sometimes if I'm lucky I'll get something as small as a L. Even then, the L runs kind of big. I wear a S, so all of the cool dork shirts I have gotten over the years just sit in boxes because they're way too big for me.
A few years ago I got an NFL Blitz fleece blanket which was kinda cool. It's a little small, but I thought it was a neat alternative to the usual promo item. Title: Re: EB has redeemed themselves Post by: Zimbacca on October 19, 2004, 07:56:55 AM That's been a problem for me too. Only I wear an M so I just never bothered to get any.
Title: Re: EB has redeemed themselves Post by: den68 on October 19, 2004, 10:40:29 AM don't worry guys just keep eating your vegetables and one day you'll grow to man size.
Title: Re: EB has redeemed themselves Post by: Hydrobond on October 19, 2004, 11:42:15 AM Or, the quicker solution is to stay away from vegetables. Look into the twinkie diet, that should help you out tremendously.
Title: Re: EB has redeemed themselves Post by: Zimbacca on October 19, 2004, 11:51:48 AM A fat joke? Den are you going to take that? I say you should sit on hydrobond!
Title: Re: EB has redeemed themselves Post by: Izret101 on October 19, 2004, 12:07:21 PM Actually i just tried on the shirt. Its XL and it fits me across the shoulders and chest fine it is a little to long but i generally wear my shirts alittle longer anyways. Seeing as they don't make shirts for people who have the shoulders and chest of a person who 5 foot 10 for people who are 5 foot 3.
Title: Re: EB has redeemed themselves Post by: Zimbacca on October 19, 2004, 06:16:49 PM 5' 3"? man you're shorter than Sinning.dragon.
Title: Re: EB has redeemed themselves Post by: danvx6 on October 19, 2004, 06:43:21 PM once again, Izret, a rabbit. my 5' 8" -ness dominates you, you must be taller than that
Title: Re: EB has redeemed themselves Post by: Izret101 on October 19, 2004, 06:43:30 PM Actually i was 5'4 last i knew but thats not much of a differance. My dad is 5'3 and i am taller than him.
But being short is almost like a novelty now. At first it sucked but now it can be very useful. Although i am the hieght of /shorter than alot of the underclassmen. But everyone knows me so it doesn't matter. Title: Re: EB has redeemed themselves Post by: Lord Nepenthean on October 19, 2004, 07:42:38 PM Quote don't worry guys just keep eating your vegetables and one day you'll grow to man size. Hey, I eat my vegetables every day. I love them. Broccoli, potatos, corn, carrots, onions.... mmmm. I think I'm gonna go eat some of my homemade vegetable soup right now, in fact. Title: Re: EB has redeemed themselves Post by: den68 on October 20, 2004, 06:10:31 AM Quote Or, the quicker solution is to stay away from vegetables.  Look into the twinkie diet, that should help you out tremendously. Twinkies are for kids (though they are quite tasty) pizza and beer is the way to go. not a slice and a Bud Lite, a whole large and a 12 pack of Heineken. Title: Re: EB has redeemed themselves Post by: Izret101 on October 20, 2004, 10:59:33 AM I agree with the pizza part but i would rather a 2 liter or 2 of soda myself.
Title: Re: EB has redeemed themselves Post by: Zimbacca on October 20, 2004, 11:24:09 AM I've got a great idea! We mix Pop and Beer to make Beer-pop!!! Its perfect!
Title: Re: EB has redeemed themselves Post by: Izret101 on October 20, 2004, 12:33:09 PM Why not just stick woth Root Beer?
The shirt fits me fine anyways so i don't need it. It is comfy too i wore it the other day for a few hours :ninja: Title: Re: EB has redeemed themselves Post by: den68 on October 20, 2004, 01:43:30 PM Quote I've got a great idea! We mix Pop and Beer to make Beer-pop!!! Its perfect! kids these days! to get back on topic, as someone who works in the promotional products industry with apparel medium through XL are the only sizes that really sell. Smalls and 2X and up are less in demand. In the case of t-shirts for large quantity giveaways XL is really a sort of "one size fits all" size. For the most part promotional items are disposable product. some people, like us, hang on to it but the vast majority of the stuff is quickly cast aside. that's also why lower quality t's are usually used for these things. check the label on that Tenchu shirt, if it's Screen Stars it's low budget crap that will most likely dsintegrate after a few washings. if it's a Gildan or Hanes or Fruit of the Loom it will last awhile. Title: Re: EB has redeemed themselves Post by: Izret101 on October 20, 2004, 01:53:56 PM The shirt is by a company called Anvil they are pretty good i have a few other shirts they made they held up pretty good. I won't wear the shirt to much anyways. I know something will happen and it will get destroyed in the washer, Pens lipstick and chapstick frequently went through the washer and drier when there is something in there that was expensive or needs to be worn later that day/night.
The hat and beanie fit pretty good also. The hat is stiff though. Title: Re: EB has redeemed themselves Post by: jonlester on October 20, 2004, 10:04:40 PM I can't do the low-carb thing exactly because I love eating vegetables so much, especially being from the American South, which also means biscuits or cornbread with every meal.
Title: Re: EB has redeemed themselves Post by: den68 on October 21, 2004, 01:49:54 PM CORNBREAD! ain't nuttin' wrong with that.
Title: Re: EB has redeemed themselves Post by: Izret101 on October 21, 2004, 03:48:44 PM Corn Bread and Biskets are very good.
Hey isnt there someone that is supposed to be poleicing this kind of extreme off topic remarks that i can't controll myself from joining in. |
