What is the longest time you have played a video game or games continuously

I voted 5-8 hours, but I've only done that once.  Generally, I only go for an hour or two.  I have a pretty short attention span.

I went 14 straight on Mass Effect this weekend.

Outside of that, my usual max would be about 3 or 4 in a given session. Most of the time I play it's only 1 or 2, though.

When GTA: Vice City came out I was playing it for up to 8 hours a day after school for a week until I finished the story. The day I got it, a Sunday, I played it from 10am to midnight.

I voted 9-13, b/c when I was a teenager and first got Sim City for SNES. I think I played all day on a Saturday.

I did the same thing for GTA: Vice City, like james. Except I wasn't in school. LOL

I played DDR for 8 hours once, hence my 5-8 hours vote. I try not to go past 4 though.

9-13

I tend to play longish stints, but over 6 is pushing it.

I do remember me and a friend playing Tomb Raider 3 (of all things) for at least 12 hours and only beating two levels.

Back in high school there were weekends where I'd spend an entire day and into the next straight of Starcraft. I'd hop onto B.net and play over the LAN with others at home. LAN parties last more than 12hrs and for awhile I was hosting at least one a month (last Saturday's), which fell apart earlier this year when people scattered everywhere. There were two mini-LANs consisting mainly of Diablo the other month, sessions from 1pm-4am. Then of course there are the MMOs, you just lose track of times on some evenings.

I picked 9-13 hours but that was back in the day during high school and such.  It might actually have been longer than 13 hours.

It's surprising how few of us still play long sessions as we get older. I play prob more now than I did as a kid or teen, but then again I only watch 1-2 hours of TV a week so it equals out.

Does this include consecutive gameplay without any food intake?  I'm sure I've had a day here or there before when I was younger where I spent 13-14 hrs straight (on a MMORPG or RPG like Morrowind)..it was usually more night than day though (3pm to 6am or so).
