It's only had a few slight problems, like freezing at a certain point in PGR3 a couple of times, and Forza 2 is a bit gimpy sometimes. I'm glad I bought one, I've played it a lot more than any of my other consoles over the last 10 months.

The headache and expense of having to mail it back any time it breaks down is a pain as well as knowing it doesn't matter what I send them (premium, elite) I'll still only be getting a core system back. Knowing that the core system will be getting the shaft when it comes to the chip, I'd be damned insane to spend that kind of money on something that's got such a high record of failure. Christ, it's like Sony and Microsoft are competing to see who can make the shortest life span system.

I decided that the rumors of the price drop were getting to the point that it should be here within the next month. So, I went to Best Buy, where they assured me that if there were a drop in the next 30 days, I would get the difference back on my debit card.
