Like Grim Fandango pointed out, the problem here isn't games, it's bad parenting. But procreation is one of the most fundamental human rights in the western world; how are you going to stop it? Wagging your finger and saying "STOP FUCKING" isn't likely to get you very far. Mandatory abortions for confirmed douchebags? Americans can't even decide if abortion should be legal, much less mandatory. The only realistic option is heavy penalties for abusive or neglectful parents: lengthy prison sentences that include mandatory counseling and parenting classes, post-release monitoring in conjunction with parole, and if either parent, with a new partner or each other, has another child, the issuing of very clear, unambiguous notices prior to childbirth that the slightest little sign of trouble will result in immediate and permanent loss of the child.

That's all way too much trouble. Mandatory abortions cost less and result in everyone being happier, since the asshole parents don't want the kids anyway most of the time.

Forcing someone to abort a child is not a good thing.  Mandatory adoptions I would be in favor of.  But how would we as a society decide who is a candidate for mandatory adoption?  After the fact it is easy to point out who is not suitable to raise a child, but prior to an incident how would we determine who is not responsible enough to care for a child? 

Either way, Mandatory abortion is too extreme. 

If I may make a supposition here, I believe Evil Leon's train of thought was mandatory abortion would stem the flow of bad genes. If these kids grow up to be like their parents the cycle would continue.
