Title: WaterMark Post by: Alabama-Shrimp on July 02, 2007, 01:20:08 PM don't know if this is the right section or if it should be in think tank so please move it if its wrong.
Anyway i have been looking at a few of the images on the site lately, thing is they aren't that big and sat right on top of them sometimes bocking any text is a giant red watermark, I know the site needs to copywrite its images but the one in use now looks a bit cheap and big. Could it not be redesigned so that although its obvious its a lot less conspicuous? Title: Re: WaterMark Post by: TraderJake on July 02, 2007, 02:37:55 PM The giant red watermark is supposed to resize according to the image size. Additionally, this watermark is generated via PHP, and is not actually on the images.
Unfortunately, I can't code something that magically finds text and places the watermark elsewhere. I wish I could, but I can't. However, after I finish with my current project I will look into image transparency using the GD library. No guarantees there, but perhaps I can get something that looks better. I just totally filled in for TraderJake there. Title: Re: WaterMark Post by: TraderJake on January 01, 2008, 02:57:10 AM What Tondog said.
Transparency is here to stay, though. |
