WTF!!!

I think they've already done that over here. A year ago there was a thing in the news about a Tom & Jerry cartoon having to be edited because Tom was smoking.

That's inane...

That's total bullcrap.

I liked how in Scary Movie 2 there was clearly defined male genitalia and it was only given an R-rating:

But something like Showgirls is NC-17.

Hollywood is retarded.

That would discourage producers from having someone smoking in new movies but for old movies that rating would suck.

I can see people-for-the-promotion-of-older-movies-to-the-young being up in arms about this. At least I hope they are. >_>

Stand by Me rated R because they smoke and talk about girl's jugg's.  Hmm sounds like the whole PC of the 90's in high gear.

That would mean that the movie Thank You For Smoking would now be PG or PG-13, right? No one smokes in the entire movie!

stand by me was made in the early 80's I think.  that is a GREAT movie.  I watch it like 3 times a week.  not even kidding.

I don't think it's a problem here in Sweden yet. I remember seeing many cartoons in which the characters blindfolded themselves and took a smoke just before they were about to be killed.
