Title: Nice pickups today - Sega CD, Brigandine (PS1) Post by: BadEnoughDude on March 31, 2007, 06:00:53 PM Stopped at an old favorite today. They didn't have a lot. I picked up Powerball CIB for Genesis for $4, and Rastan Saga II loose for $5. While I was peeking through their "good" games (which included, among other things, Romance of the Three Kingdoms 3 loose for Genesis for a mere $47.99) I noticed a Sega CD behind the counter amongst a pile of Model 2 Genesis decks. Asked them if it was for sale and was told they didn't know if it worked yet (no cords) but to make an offer. Ended up getting it for $5. I still don't know if it works, as I don't have the proper cables, but $5 for a pop-top Sega CD and a Model 2 Genesis deck is okay in my book.
Oh yeah, I also picked up Brigandine CIB for $20. MEGA-score!! Title: Re: Nice pickups today - Sega CD, Brigandine (PS1) Post by: Ghost Soldier on April 03, 2007, 07:45:07 AM Very good price on the sega cd. I've never had a problem with the front or top loaders.

I got a similar deal on a sega cd (pop top) as well last summer. I haven't had any problems with it. Cool thing about sega cds, If you have a very scratched up cd...try putting it in your computer and do "copy cd" to a normal cd-r and the copy works (Im not encouraging bootlegging)....or I guess you could buffer it! Complete copies of Brigandine go for $55-60 regularly on eBay. Mine is missing the map, but what I do have is in great condition. They also had copies of Persona ($20) and Tactics Ogre ($37) but neither had manuals so I had to pass. I have yet to play mine either, but I intend to sometime soon. That's the crappy part about RPGs.. You can never just pop it in and beat it in a weekend. You gotta have quite a bit of time to devote, and if you're like me you can't mix and match games. I usually only like to play one RPG at a time. |
