Title: Canadian regional games...
Post by: the_wizard_666 on March 14, 2007, 04:05:02 AM
Okay, I noticed that FINALLY there are separate regions for the US and Canada in the NES section (well, probably for everything, but that's what I'm working on right now), but there is one glaring problem with it.  That being that there are no separate listings for Canadian cartridges.  The majority of Nintendo published titles were released with a -CAN code, making them separate titles, but they aren't listed separately in the DB.  I would gladly help submit whatever information that I can personally provide (short of scans, as my scanner is kinda buried right now), assuming I'll actually have the ability to add them into my collection at some point.  Just thought I'd point this out...

That's the theory, if you submit the relevant information, someone on staff will approve and varify that information. This will then create an entry in the database and you can add the game to your collection. Hopefully one day we will have all the games released for a system for a specific region listed, but we need everyones help to achieve this. So please feel free to submit away.

I hear there's a devilishly handsome Canadian gentleman on staff with plenty of seperate Canadian entries himself that he needs to add once he get's a new scanner.  ;)

The new submission script allows for listing that aren't region wide i.e. A North American game specific to Canada. Feel free to submit whenever you please.  8)

Cool man.  I haven't submitted anything since the submissions thread, didn't even know there was a submissions tool.  I'll have to get on that right away here :)  Thanks guys!
