Title: What do you hate about dvd's and dvd players
Post by: Ghost Soldier on February 20, 2007, 12:14:13 PM
I hate the fact that some dvd's will not allow you to access the menu until you go through the previews.  My all time hate is the ones that throw the captions on automatically.  I'm not deaf that's why I have a 700 watt surround sound system.  If I wanted to read my movies I would have bought the book.  Sorry mini rant

I hate buying a DVD and having a "better" version released only weeks later.  That really pisses me off....see T2, Evil Dead, Robocop, ect.......

I hate special editions that aren't special.

I know what you mean.  They come out with a unrated or special version with a few more goodies.

The ones that only have the preview in the extra's menu.  I at least want some deleted scenes, or interviews

I hate the fact that so many great movies still haven't gotten a DVD release yet, and now with the 2 new formats prob never will.

I hate adds on DVD period. Should be a whole separate menu if you want to go watch them.

If the DVD is damaged you might not be able to see it. With VHS you could at least see the movie!
