Woah, I've never seen that handheld before. I'd say it's one of the newer Tiger Handhelds though, as the older ones came in a cardboard box with a window and flap. It'll be interesting to know how much it's worth. ...I'd say you should get way more than what you put in it reguardless. :P

I got my MK tigerhandhelds for between 15 and 45$s.

Mortal Kombat is something probably just a little bit more sought after than that Robin hood one but i bet if you start it at 10 bucks you will gete a t least that much for it.

As a general rule of thumb, 90% of SEALED Tiger handhelds from 87-98 are worth $5-20 to a -game- collector. Most are extremely common and are more on the $5-10 range. Only when you're dealing with an obscure title like M.C. Hammer are you goin into the $10-20 range. This one I'd say is a $10 max. Loose Tiger handhelds are worth $0.25-$5. Only when you're dealing with the truely insane like myself that live for Tiger will you see higher prices and only when us crazy folk get into a serious bidding war. It's rare but it does happen. There really aren't many rare Tiger handhelds in the years I mentioned above. Some of the earlier stuff can fetch a nice price though. The later stuff well, let's just say that it's equal to a roll of toilet paper...lol

Now the interesting part. When dealing with Tiger stuff you're not typically dealing with game collectors. That's where you'll see the price difference. A lot of the Tiger titles are movie, cartoon, and other licenses. I've seen sealed Joe Montana games go for as high as $180 to football collectors but this really is a rarity. When you're dealing with other types of collectors the common price range for sealed stuff is $10-50. Loose for $5-20.  Mostly dealing with soccer moms trying to get the Disney titles for their young children for car rides and such.

Bottom line is when dealing with Tiger stuff, don't expect to make a killing. The stuff is just too common and in the eyes of most, too worthless. My entire Tiger collection is only worth about $150-300 (never really calculated) and I have TONS of titles and at least 30% of them are sealed. I only collect them cause I love the goofy things and as a kid I wanted them all. Now that I have the means that's what I'm shooting for. If I were to sell them all right now at typical going prices I'd be lucky to make $100.

well said and could apply to a lot of things people (and I) collect. :(

If your audience will pay more for it then you're more likely to be able to get more from it. eg the Joe Montana fans in the above example.
