Title: Looking for fun games to play on a network Post by: Arrrhalomynn on February 07, 2007, 10:14:39 AM I connected an old amd 800 to a less old amd 2400+, so it's possible to play games against each other. So far my brother and I have tried quake 3 arena, which works like a charm, but I'm not very fond of it. That's why I'm hoping someone here has a few suggestions for good uncomplicated multiplayer games.
With uncomplicated I mean not a game like civilization 3, I want something I can play for 30 minutes and then quit. My brother is 11, so it can't be too hardcore violent either. I think quake 3 arena is rather cartoony, but I find a game like Max Payne unsuitable, because it's a lot more realistic. We have had a lot of fun with it.
If you are looking for another FPS check out Unreal Tournament. I think it is a lot more fun than Q3. And there are tons of player created maps out there that are pretty cool. I'm sure other people will have some suggestions too. Title: Re: Looking for fun games to play on a network Post by: Tynstar on February 08, 2007, 11:00:02 AM C&C
Warcraft 2 Maybe to complicated though. Viper Racing Red Baron 2 Title: Re: Looking for fun games to play on a network Post by: Tondog on February 08, 2007, 06:19:52 PM Duke Nukem 3d is fun over LAN and pretty cartoony in its violence.
