Title: Re: Got a SP today. Post by: Cobra on January 26, 2007, 05:40:44 PM Plus it's back lit.... that was a extremely sad thing about the Advance, I mean even the Sega Nomad was back lit.

I want an SP so badly. :P for some odd reason bargains flow to me a river. i have scored 30+ tg-16 games for $50 once, tg-16 turbo express for $60. moon ranger for nes COMPLETE for $2. etc. btw... how long does the battery on the sp last? i was playing it all day at work and it still has juice left. this is awesome. Title: Re: Got a SP today. Post by: JWKobayashi on January 26, 2007, 10:02:10 PM Yeah, the batteries last quite a while. I used to play mine on and off regularly for at least a few days before it needed a charge.
And I can't believe that I forgot that the regular GBA wasn't backlit. I guess I just kind of take that for granted now. Title: Re: Got a SP today. Post by: captain_nintendo on January 27, 2007, 07:08:01 AM I love my "NES classic" sp version.

It's got it all!: Folds for compactability (and keeps the screen safe!), is front-lit (back-lit for the later models), is rechargable, AND plays every Game Boy / Color / Advance game ever made! And I can't believe that I forgot that the regular GBA wasn't backlit. I guess I just kind of take that for granted now. Title: Re: Got a SP today. Post by: VACRMH on January 30, 2007, 07:07:18 PM Sorry to derail a bit, but isn't there 2 versions of the SP out?
Title: Re: Got a SP today. Post by: ApolloBoy on February 03, 2007, 09:56:14 PM Sorry to derail a bit, but isn't there 2 versions of the SP out? Nope, there's just the backlit SP and the Micro. Title: Re: Got a SP today. Post by: ganonbanned on February 03, 2007, 10:12:10 PM Sorry to derail a bit, but isn't there 2 versions of the SP out? well, it originally was front lit but now back lit. and BTW thats a crappy deal jk. I won mine at the state fair for $3 Title: Re: Got a SP today. Post by: Ando on February 04, 2007, 10:00:42 AM Sorry to derail a bit, but isn't there 2 versions of the SP out? Sort of. The older ones (before... 2004, I believe) were front-lit. Newer ones are back-lit (which is better :)).Title: Re: Got a SP today. Post by: ApolloBoy on February 04, 2007, 04:32:41 PM (before... 2004, I believe) Actually, the backlit SP came out at around the same time as the Micro, which was in September 2005.
