A couple of years ago they used to be reasonable selling consoles for about £10 and games for a couple of quid. They have now firmly latched on to the "retro" market and charge unbelieveable prices for stuff.

Post by: Alabama-Shrimp on January 12, 2007, 05:27:06 AM thing is i dont think anyone even buys the stuff as its so expensive, Andy is right a few years ago they couldn't get rid of it fast enough (much like the last gen stuff now) so was dirt cheap but i have seen resellers in there now so the prices go up.
I do think that they move these things round a few shops though as i cant see where they are all coming from as NES in particular is pretty thin on the ground round here. The other one had a loose VCS for £21 with no games. It's no wonder people trade consoles in to make a profit. No need for eGay that way, unless you want cash or you're selling games.
All of their games are overpriced apart from most of the Mega Drive games, which are usually £1.99 BOGOF. Title: Re: Look at the Prices! The same shop has had Panzer Dragoon sage twice (prob same game) in the windows at £99 or so its just not going to sell at that price especially when you know they paid fuck all for it |
