Title: Free Oblivion content (Xbox 360)
Post by: Tan on December 21, 2006, 09:07:28 PM
Just a heads up that the "Mehrunes' Razor" add-on will be a free download from Dec. 22nd to the 31st for the Xbox 360, no word on PC yet though.

Can you download content if you don't have the game? Thanks for the heads up.

Just to answer your question I tried a couple downloads for games I don't own, a warning came up saying that they could only be used with a full retail version of the game, but it does work, at least for the games I tried.

I've done that as well. I don't know why there's a "warning" in the first place, but it's there none the less. I'm definitely going to be sure to download it.

And it wouldn't surprise me if other Oblivion DLC will be made available for the 360 given the fact that the PS3 version will already have it included when it releases in March.

I got it this afternoon and played through it. It's a fun dungeon, but not very challenging. The dagger at the end isn't very usefull to me, but there are some other magical items that are pretty neat.

I managed to get around 2 1/2 hours out of it, but I must say Mehrunes Razor from Morrowind makes a much better assassin's dagger than this one does.

Phht, Elder Scrolls. It looks nice but it sure is lonely. I'll play with a few thousand companions if you don't mind.

Did you get the Morag Tong armor? That's a great set of equipment. And I love the red hood you get at the end too.

Spoiler alert!!!:

We have the spoiler tag ;)

It is the nuclear symbol.

Or {spoiler}{/spoiler} just replace {} with []
