This is weird.

November 20, 2006 - Taco Bell is trying to do a good deed. The first person who agrees to give up their PlayStation 3 to Taco Bell will get the equivalent of tacos for life. Your console (should you choose to donate it) won't go to a Taco Bell manager. Instead, the Bell is giving the PS3 to the Boys & Girls Club.

"The PlayStation 3 is on every teen's holiday wish list," said Bob Fulmer, Executive Director, Taco Bell Foundation. "That's why we're offering one lucky individual tacos for life in exchange for giving Boys & Girls Club teens a gift that will keep them in the game."

If you spent $4/meal, 2 meals a day, every day, that would last you 1562.5 days, or roughly 4.28 years. Double it if you only eat 1 meal/day.

I'd definitely trade a PS3 for that. Further, as the value of the PS3 will only go down, so if you buy it back for say $200 a few years down the road, you'll still have your PS3 AND your Taco Bell vouchers.

They better hand out a well padded toilet seat with that, Mexican food twice a day for 4 years, and seeing as it's pre-made goo not genuine, I'm not so sure that's a prize so much as a death sentence on your bowels.

Maybe that guy from ebay who makes custom toilet seats can whip up a Taco Bell or PS3 one for the lucky soul who goes for that deal.

It's too bad I'm on a diet, I'd do that PS3 deal in a heartbeat. Financially it just makes sense.

have you seen the houses in japan, they are small. so their idea of a small house is probably a shack.

I've spent approximately $20/week at Taco Bell since this was posted 10 years ago -- that's just over $10k. I have another $2k to go to declare myself a winner. I can't wait to rub this in their faces.
