Title: Games in Mexico?
Post by: Rejinx on November 16, 2006, 01:32:39 AM
I was thinking about going to Mexico in the next few years.  I started wondering what types of games they have in Mexico, weather they get regular US english releases or spanish.  I was wondering if any of y'all have went game hunting in Mexico and if so what did y'all find? Is it a diffrent region?  Are the games really cheap? Are they easy to find?  Just tell me what you know.

If you can find Best Buys outlet on eBay they were selling a bunch of copies of Jade Empire(spanish) pretty cheap ;)

All i know is that they are the same region.

They probably have a mix of Spanish and English manuals like Canada has the mix of english and french.

Or what they've been doing for the last year or two here in Canada where they take a english only or sometimes US game and wrap a bilingual cover insert and manual around the still sealed game and seal it. I've had about 2 dozen games that have done that this year alone, unfortunately that means that the extra cover insert is sort of out of it's former shape and the extra manual sometimes takes a beating both being on the outside of the case. :P

I sent this thread to my friend in Mexico that collects games. Maybe he can help.

Silly Rejinx, they don't have video games in Mexico, they only have dust, and Tacos, and wide brimmed hats, and Mariachis who carry guns in their guitar cases, and a lack of whiny Americans.

Awesome, I convinced myself, I'm going to Mexico.

Mexico got a couple North American SNES releases that weren't released in the US:  Super Copa, International Superstar Soccer, and International Superstar Soccer Deluxe.  You should keep an eye out for one or more of those ;)
