Title: collecting suggestion needed
Post by: NES_Rules on August 21, 2006, 09:00:17 PM
While garage saling I scored a Super Mario Bros cake pan for $1.  It's in great shape, it even has the original paper insert with the instructions on it.  But I have a problem; price stickers.  I already got the garage sale $2 sticker off but the Ames $9.99 and Clearance $6.00 are still there (there was another sticker but was already picked off).  So my question is; should I attempt to take off the price stickers or just leave them on there.  I'll be hanging on to this for as long as I can, but in case I ever do sell it, I want to maximize my profit.

Are the price stickers on the paper of the tin cake pan part? If on the paper I would leave it. If on the pan you should be able to get it off and clean without a problem.

go to an art supply store and get some Bestine. it takes price tags of off paper with ease. I used it to get all the price tags off my action figures.

you have to be very careful with it if you try to use it to get price tags off of cartridge labels though. it will take the price tag and the label itself off if you use too much. it also eats the color on N64 labels.

it's actually a rubber cement/spray mount solvent.

That is some good to know information.
