Title: Shenmue 2 help Post by: neskid on August 04, 2006, 08:52:11 AM I'm looking for the Shenmue 2 game for the dreamcast. i hear that you need some kind of adapter since the game was not relased in the U.S. any information would be helpful. I just need to know what to really look for if I ever find the game. thanks for any help :slick:

If I'm not mistaken, the later releases of the game will not work with a boot disc at all. I'm sure someone else knows for sure. Of course I don't own a bunch either. There are some issues with Shenmue II and Headhunter. The re-release or later releases will not work with any boot disc.
You can use a GS or CB disc, but I'm not sure if that'll fix the problem with the two games mentioned. As for Japanese games, I've not had one problem and I have 150+ games. |
