Just watched it last night. I didnt think it was bod or good. Only thing I could think of was it was the strangest movie I have ever seen. Anyone else seen it? That said, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. It was funny, amusing, and worked with the book nicely. I haven't seen the BBC Guide stuff, but this movie was a lot of fun, and it gave me something I could watch with my mom, sister AND nephew (who all have different tastes in movies than I do). It's definately quirky brit humor. You have to have a taste for it. Besides the BBC show there was also 2 radio shows. I've never heard those but I have seen the BBC show. I've got in on DVD and Laser too.
I liked the movie. But I like that weird brit stuff. |
