http://www.dchomebrew.org/hexen2.shtml http://www.dchomebrew.org/wolf3ddc.shtml http://www.dchomebrew.org/doombero.shtml i have been trying to download and burn these games since 7:00 this morning. (its 9.30 here). i am starting to get very mad, because i cannot create a .cdi file. for some reason, it will not work! could somebody please help me? maybe even, make the .cdi file and email it to me (ganonbanned@yahoo.com) as an attachment? im sorry i ask but i am computer incompetent. Title: Re: DC homebrew help! Post by: TraderJake on July 28, 2006, 01:19:52 PM Hmm, unfortunately the one person I know who had homebrew Dreamcast games is no longer on this earth, but if he was I am certain that he would have helped you, given that we was the webmaster of this very site. However, I am certain that someone out there might know how to do this.
For those of you wondering whether or not this is an acceptable topic: Homebrews: I think they are ok so long as we don't get nasty emails or lawsuit threats Hacks, ROMS, Emulation: Don't make or touch those topics with a ten foot pole. Perhaps too this may be better suited for Video Game Generation? Yes, no? Title: Re: DC homebrew help! Post by: JWKobayashi on July 29, 2006, 12:22:37 AM Check this out, as I saw the files for download in SBI format on those pages:
http://www.dchomebrew.org/burnsbi.shtml (http://www.dchomebrew.org/burnsbi.shtml) As for burning w/ Discjuggler (CDI), I know that newer versions of DJ can have problems with CDI's created using the older versions. I know that I've burned a few homebrews (Doom DC being one of them), but it's been about 5 years. Give that a shot and let me know if it works. Title: Re: DC homebrew help! Post by: ganonbanned on July 29, 2006, 02:00:00 PM i did the .sbi format, and it kind of worked. it brought up a menu but no games. i tried it twice and the same thing happened both times. i thought i was out of CD-rs except i found a blank one cleaning my room.
EDIT: i burned it, and put it in the dreamcast, and it took me to a screen with a blank menu. i pressed start and it just brought a black screen. i really hate to ask, but could someone email me the .cdi (for the hexen (full version) one (http://consolevision.com/members/sbiffy/browse/browse.cgi?browse&Games)?)? i could burn it then. Thanks, Ty Title: Re: DC homebrew help! (not of hexen, of the dreamcast) help please!
