Title: the TSR book motherload! Post by: den68 on May 22, 2006, 07:55:57 AM I went to a Salvation Army on Saturday and walked away with a monster size pile of TSR books. I'd like to thank Scott for this. I'd never given these a second look before till I was talking with Scott one day and he said he collected them. I picked up a few at a thrift to send him but he already had them. I flipped through a few and thought they looked pretty good. I read a lot of sci-fi and fantasy anyway. So great... another collection.

Title: Re: the TSR book motherload! Post by: Tan on August 04, 2006, 01:56:17 AM i've got a couple hundred give or take of those books as well, Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance and Ravenloft mostly, i've only got 2 Ravenloft books, Lord Soth's crossover was too hard to resist regardless of whether it's canon or not. anyone here have the Dwarven Nations Trilogy? those are the only 3 older Dragonlance ones i don't own, haven't kept up with it for around 2 years now so i'm not sure if they finally caved and reprinted them, i had a bugger of a time getting the original printing of the elven nations trilogy in mint shape.
so how are the Greyhawk novels? i've never read them though i see them in thrift stores often enough, but with those 2 main series draining my wallet i try to resist the temptation, otherwise the Trek and Star wars series won't be far behind :P Title: Re: the TSR book motherload! Post by: den68 on August 04, 2006, 08:04:38 AM Star Trek is the main series draining my wallet. I have a couple hundred of those at least. I get most of my books (like my games) at thrift stores. At 25 cent or 5 for a dollar for paperbacks it's easy to aquire a tom very cheaply.
I also pick up a lot of other Sc-Fi and Fantasy stuff, Robert Heinlein, Andre Norton, Philip K. Dick and such. So far I've been resisting the Star Wars novels but I did cave recently when I found the old Han Solo books. Han Solo's Revenge, Han Solo At Star's End and Han Solo And The Lost Legacy. I couldn't pass those up. Title: Re: the TSR book motherload! Post by: Tynstar on August 04, 2006, 10:10:42 AM I also have the Shapechangers series. That series is where I got Tynstar from. I also have Babylon 5 boxes and some Star Wars books.
I think I read a few of the Greyhawk books about 15 years ago. They were OK. I actually traded them in. Title: Re: the TSR book motherload! Post by: Tynstar on March 31, 2007, 02:41:51 PM I picked up about 30 more TSR books with some credit I got at a store trading in a bunch of crap I didn't want. I also too a picture of my books.
