Now that Summer is here and flea markets and rummages are here how much do you typically send in a week on video games?

I chose 100-124$ a week, but it really depends.  I guess I avg. out 100-150 a week, but sometimes I hardly spend anything for a couple of weeks, and other times I spend a lot more in a single week.  It mainly depends on what kind of stuff is on eBay (as well as ad sites, flea markets, etc), and how much $$ I have on my PayPal account :)  

Not all of it is spent directly on my collection, though.  I usually buy anything NES related that I can get a good deal on, and use it as trade bait or resell it and use the profits to buy stuff for my collection or purchase more cheap deals ;)

My aim is tops 50-70$ but i must admit that some weeks it's the double of that amount.

At one time, I was spending $100+ a week...now that I'm apparently whipped like Mezmoron  ;), that's gone down to about $100 a month.

Although, that's not too bad when Atari stuff seems incredibly cheap at the moment.

I voted $21-$49. Because I have been broke lately. But a few months back I spent like 2 grand in 1 month. Sp it all depends.

I almost voted "None, I'm whipped like Mezmoron" just because it is so damn funny.

right now im not spending much because ,theres not much i need ,that has been showing up..but usally spend between 50 to 75

I round out to probably 21-50 bucks a week.

I spent nearly 110$s on ebay in under a month AND i bought Guitar Hero.
And thats just money i spent on games!
And i only worked once that month!

This month i can't buy anything other thanm the few items i already have bids on (should i win), mothers day stuff, dads b-day stuff and car insurance.

I probally spend less then $20 a month. Last Saturday I spent about $10 and thought I was living the high life....

I also spend less than $20. Once in a blue moon, I'll make enough money to spend on some video games, but I don't have a job, so I'm usually flat broke.

Really depends on what time of year it is for me. During the summer, energy bill goes up along with other stuff, so my gaming funds are pretty much non existant.

Flea markets, swap meets and garage sales dont really happen during the summer around here. The best time to hit those is during the winter, fall and spring. That is typically when I have more money to spend anyhow.

But I probably only spend on average, about 100 a month through out the year. Sometimes I do spend a whole lot more, but it evens out when I am spending next to nothing from may - sept.

I'm with the idea that some weeks are more spendy than others. I've gone up to $50-74. But last week, I only bought 1 game ($9 for Rogue Squadron 2 for GC). The previous week nothing. And prior to that I won an auction for Perfect Dark Zero ($27). So lately I'm averaging <$20...

I voted $0 to $20.  I feel poor  :'(

$100- $124 but it really depends on what's coming out for the specific console or handheld that I really need

i'm at under $20.  I am poor.  but i am also thrifty and picky about prices.  My wife gets so embarrased when I try to talk people down from like $1 to .50...

I voted $50-$74, but that's a really rough estimated average since I've only spent about $200-$300 on games since the beginning of the year (most of the stuff I've bought recently has been through trades at a local game store, and that doesnt count).  It's probably more than that, but I really have no idea.

What's up with the people who voted $100 or more?  How in the hell can you guys afford it?

Lately it's been under 20 bucks a week. Before I got married I was spending 100 to 200 dollars a week. I have no idea why I was spending so much, but hey I love my collection now. =)

I usually try not to spend more than $40 in a week.  It's mostly just because in 2 months I'll have a mortgage payment, so I want to get myself used to spending smaller amounts of money on games.  I haven't bought much lately because I've been saving up money for a big purchase that I'll be making tomorrow (with pictures to follow).

Besides, I pride myself with how little I've actually spent building up my collection.  I usually spend on average $3 a games, so at $40 a week, that's still 13 games every week.  Not to shabby.
