Anybody pick this up, or are going to pick it up?

I bought it the other night and must say it is visually fantastic. It really wasnt the greatest movie or story, but obviously as a video game fan and a fan of FF7, I did enjoy it.

I was super hyped about it when I first heard about it but then it just kinda faded away and I forgot. Now that you reminded me i'll have to find it somewhere.

I reacted the same way; I was hyped at first, but forgot about it until a person in my class asked me if I saw it. I definitely plan on seeing it now.

I got it the day it came out.  My only complaint about the movie is the sever lack of characters other than Cloud and Tefa.  I mean come one Red XIII had one line however I thought all the voices sounded pretty much as I imagined they would.

I saw it ages ago.

I wasn't aware it came out.
They didn't hype it very well....
I won't pick it up yill it is ultra cheap.
Or till they release the version with all the special features lol

I meant recently i have seen maybe A as in one commercial about it.

There was ALOT more talk about it a year or so ago.

There are some special features on the DVD I got.

I enjoyed the movie alot but I wish it was longer.

O Anybody intrested in seeing the anime like movie? the one where you see what really happen that day when The one winged Angel when crazy cause he seen Jenova?

This movie is the pinnacle of everything good and Square Enix. The end.

Just make sure you watch it in Japanese first.

i saw about 15 minutes of scifi channel then changed the channel, i need to pick up the dvd and check it out.

I couldn't take it.

Advent Children was just as bad as the game, if not worse.

I thoroughly enjoyed it.  I had seen *a* version in Japanese a year earlier, but it was still good.  I was dissappointed to find that they waited a year to make a special edition without my knowing.  I have to admit it doesn't make as much sense unless you know the story of FFVII.  The fight scenes are always cool and need no explanation. 

They're more ridiculous than cool if you ask me.

I'm with Tondog this time round, even though I loved the game.

I got this the day it came out.... then sold it shortly after.
If I wanted to see Rinoa I would of watched a FF8 movie. Cloud wasn't represented too badly, but seemed a little more Squal in attitude than Cloud. I'm not a fan of FF8, so this did not help in the slightest.

It seemed pretty good about half way into it, then I stopped watching it after the waterproof phone sank as it was pretty late.

I resumed it the next day.... out of all honesty, I would of been much happier with it had it ended where I stopped watching it the night before, and they just stuck a "to be continued" at the end. From that point on the rest was just rushed poorly to fit it all in the time frame, or save money, whichever. All the other key characters of the games were nothing but cameos, with Square seeing just how quickly they could throw one in after another. Very lame ending, and a big disappointment for a movie of a game with such a strong pulling story.

I was only more disappointed to find out all the extras are Jap, absolutely no effort was made when porting the DVD into English. Not to mention my DVD player even defaulted to Jap when I 1st started the movie up.

Personally, I thought this movie was terrible.  I fell asleep a few times during it, only because it seemed to make absolutely no sense and the battles were so overdone. 

Speaking of which, now that I gave my review, anyone wanna buy my copy?  :-)
