Hey Videopac fans!

After Videopac 63+ Flash Point, which we released on cartridge in fall of 2004, we did it again: Videopac 64 SHARK HUNTER is available on cart NOW! Take a look at our website to learn more about the game, its history, ordering info, owner's list, etc.

http://www.dieterkoenig.at/ccc/

Here is some IMPORTANT additional ordering info:

As the PAL version of Shark Hunter would NOT run on NTSC machines, we made separate PAL and NTSC carts. We will probably produce 100 copies of Shark Hunter (70 PAL and 30 NTSC), but at this time only 36 PAL copies are available. Those will be sold on a first come first serve basis. If you want an NTSC copy, or if you are not one of the lucky 36 persons to get a PAL copy from the first batch, you can however reserve your copy now: the remaining 34 PAL copies and the 30 NTSC copies will probably be available in
April 2006.

Happy Videopac gaming!

Dieter from Classic Consoles Center

Figured that might be of interest to someone. Just because it is going to be such a small production.
70 PAL 30 NTSC

EDIT
What the christ is Videopak

At least one of those games is for the Videopac+ though, and not the Videopac, which techincally isn't the same as the Odyssey^2 ;)  Videopac+ has more powerful background graphics than the Odyssey^2, unfortunately a US counterpart was never released ;)

Not sure if they  should be added yet. Isn't this kind of like a homebrew? We don't have homebrews in the database.

fi we do add them then Sega CD games Battle Frenzy, Citizen X, Marko and Mighty Mighty MIssile from http://www.gooddealgames.com need to be added.

Also what about the Songbird Productions games released, should those be added?

I agree...I voted yes, because ultimately I believe they should be added, but maybe under a different heading...[homebrew] or something of the like?

I don't think we should ever add prototypes to the database, but homebrews are somewhat like complete games, just exceptionally rare and maybe a bit rugged ;)  (and aftermarket of course :))

I just got my first four homebrews and they are just as nice as any Atari 2600 release. Some are not that rare and some are just like normal games.

Go ahead and check them out.
You wil see that Mike had added some of the Songbird and Good Deal Games releases awhile back.

So my poll was pretty much a moot point.
I would have added them anyways
lol
