Title: Full Auto on Xbox 360 Post by: phoenix1967 on February 17, 2006, 10:50:10 AM Played some of this at EB yesterday. Rampage mode is a blast! Graphics and sound were very well done.
It plays very similar to Burnout. Unfortunately, it's only 2-player splitscreen. Multiplayer is limited to Xbox live for up to 8 players. Title: Re: Full Auto on Xbox 360 Post by: Tynstar on February 17, 2006, 10:53:40 AM It is 44.99 at Fry's so I will go pick it up.

I've seen that it's getting mixed reviews, but from what I played, I thought it was fairly good for a launch title. What was their issue with it? Title: Re: Full Auto on Xbox 360 Post by: Antimind on February 22, 2006, 08:49:57 AM We got it on launch day and it's a really great game IMO. If you liked R.C. Pro-Am you'll dig on it ;)
The single player modes are fun but untl you start unlocking new tracks and whatnot can be repetitive. I unlocked stuff pretty fast though cause I just couldn't put it down. Multiplayer on Xbox Live is really really fun. Especially if you have a few friends around and you're playing matches with them. So far I haven't run into any assholes playing on Live and actually made a few new friends. Bottom line is if you like arcade style racing and blowing shit up you'll love it. Title: Re: Full Auto on Xbox 360 Post by: Tynstar on February 22, 2006, 09:30:41 AM I could of got it yesterday for 44.99 but with my big 2600 purchase I had to pass. :(

Title: Re: Full Auto on Xbox 360 Post by: phoenix1967 on February 22, 2006, 10:19:40 AM Quote meh. what's another $45 bucks? LOL. This from the guy that started the small scores thread... Title: Re: Full Auto on Xbox 360 Post by: Tynstar on February 22, 2006, 11:21:33 AM Quote meh. what's another $45 bucks? 45 is not that big of a deal but I am watching some auction for the last few 7800 boxes and manuals I need. Title: Re: Full Auto on Xbox 360 Post by: Antimind on February 23, 2006, 08:42:45 AM Since we're talking about money and 360 any of you guys have Amped 3? I been wanting to check it out but we tend not to buy games till a demo is released cause we just can't afford to plop down $70 + tax on a piece of shit.

This from the guy that started the small scores thread... that was sarcasm. in reality I'd try to stretch that $45 into multiple purchases. the $70 I plunked down for Guitar Hero is the most I've spent on a single game ever. it was killing me but I managed to justify buying it by the fact it came with a controller. that and the sheer coolness of it. under normal circumstances that $70 would have been 2 weeks of thrift store finds. Just playing along with the irony of it. I remember paying $70 back in the day for Phantasy Star 3 on the Sega Genesis. I'm of the same opinion that if you know you want a game enough, just get it. I used that same logic to buy the Halo 2 map downloads as soon as they came out instead of waiting for them to be released on the Multiplayer Map disc or to just wait for them to be available to download for free. |
