Due to Rick bugging me for some new pictures of my room I updated my pics in my collection profile. Teh ceiling in my room is 9ft tall to give you a idea how high the shelves are.

Will you keep those boxes on those shelves, or are they just filler till you have enough games to fill them?

The games are on a different wall that I haven't taken pictures of yet. I made custom shelves for the games. These shelves are for systems and accessories only. Actually I have games in a few different places.

But ooooo. I must be the supreme ruler since I have been there in person ?  :laugh:

Kidding, but the room will seriously kick ass once he has all of the custom game shelves all done and everything picked up.

Great boxed system collection, although I want to see that genesis cllection :)

Soon you will see the greatness that is the Genesis collection. I am waiting on some games that should be in the mail.

99% of room of dooms I've seen create stress, too much stuff and too little space...so far yours is one of the only ones that has a bit of a relaxing aura..not easy to do when displaying a video game collection ;)

i just realized i read this and never posted in it....anyway....tynstar....i love the shelves with the system boxes displayed.....your room looks awesome....i cant wait to see the genny games ....... and the complete o2 and 32x games (i want to  see how you have those sets displayed)

Wow, nice set up.  I didn't know that so many video games were made into board games, especially Tetris.  Here's a piece of advice, though.  Remove the 360 from your room or else it might start a fire and you would be out of a Room of Doom!!

It will only burn down if played for a long time. I can only play a game for about 45-60 minuts at a time.

Takes forever to load for my stupid 56k, lol.  Everything looks great, can't wait to see all of it.  Makes me want to get boxes for my systems even more.

I think I am sick. You have not one, but TWO Metroid cardboard stands. Man I wish I could find one. Nice collection.

I like the Pac-man display & Ms. Pac-man cabinet. Have you tried for the old Pac-man telephone? I've seen them on eBay going for 10-15 bucks.

I don't really search Ebay for any of it. I just get what I see.

That is an awesome set-up you have got going there!!  I wish I had the amount of room that you have to be able to display my boxes.  I did update my pictures as well - added individual shots of each system w/boxes and made a temporary 'Wall' of all the boxes together to be able to show them all at once (11' x 8' x 11').  I'll just post the 'Wall' here, since my profile has a little over 100 pictures.  If interested in seeing the other pics, please see the link below.

My room is 23' x 19.5'

The shelves are 7 feet tall I think and 30 inches wide. Well all but the thin unit. The bottom part is 18 inches deep for extra storage. The shelves are not that deep. They are just enough to fix a game/

That's very impressive looking Tynstar. How about coming down here and building me a shelf system like that?   ;D  Not that I have anything near that sort of space in any of the rooms in my tiny little abode.
