Title: A guy bid $5500 for Master Chief Post by: Mike Leon on January 16, 2006, 07:31:21 PM Media Play is having a silent auction for the 6" Master Chief in the store now that they're closing. I looked through the bids today and a guy bid $5500 and left multiple notes saying that if anyone bid higher to please contact him because he really wants it. Another guy bid "$100 more than the highest bid up to $10,000" but I won't believe that until I see it. The $5500 guy seems serious though. That's insane.

Last I asked it was up to about $2000. the things all beat to hell too with many very visible scratches and gouges. be cool to have but not for that kind of change.
