Title: Re: Flea Market Find Post by: thx1138 on July 10, 2004, 03:00:45 PM Genesis 3?
OMG!!!!! Do you mean the SEGA Nomad? The handheld that takes Genesis carts? Damn! That's the sort of find that I dream about! Title: Re: Flea Market Find Post by: shadytool on July 10, 2004, 03:48:57 PM no not the nomad, i wish.  those things are pretty bad ass.
the genesis 3 was a cheap genny made by majesco, with only the bare essentials. a store by me does have a Nomad, but they want $90 for it. loose no box. thats a little pricey for my taste. but that would be awesome to have. Title: Re: Flea Market Find Post by: IceBladeX on July 10, 2004, 07:23:59 PM I actually "inherited" a Genesis 3 from an ex-Girlfreind who barely even touched it
Shes never said anything so... that should mean she doesent want it back right? Title: Re: Flea Market Find Post by: Izret101 on July 10, 2004, 07:50:47 PM I would guess yes.
But definately keep it on hand incase of lawsuits [smiley=laugh.gif] Title: Re: Flea Market Find Post by: Lord Nepenthean on July 11, 2004, 12:09:51 AM I remember getting my Genesis 3 brand new from KayBee for loke $30. I still regret not getting more of their super-cheap clearance consoles back in the day when I had the chance.
Title: Re: Flea Market Find Post by: IceBladeX on July 11, 2004, 12:44:39 AM They were clearing out Jaguars at that price too, but I didnt have the money to get one at the time of course. I believe thats also where I got my 32X.
Title: Re: Flea Market Find Post by: shadytool on July 11, 2004, 06:25:07 AM damn if they would jsut have some left in stock that they would try to sell again. like EB did with those NGPC bundles.
Title: Re: Flea Market Find Post by: 2D-Forever on July 11, 2004, 10:20:53 AM Since I'm good friends with the EB employees out here in the sticks, I was able to get my hands on the "employee only" stock of SNES games they had. I got Illusions of Gaia at a discount rate. 8$ is as cheap as you could get it anywhere else, and it had everything included. Box, manual, gamepro advertisements; everything.
This brings my total number of SNES games up to: 2 Title: Re: Flea Market Find Post by: deadducks on July 11, 2004, 12:14:57 PM Quote like EB did with those NGPC bundles. You can now buy the bundles at hastings. :) |
