Title: Metal Gear Solid 3
Post by: captain_nintendo on December 28, 2005, 05:00:47 PM
So I finally took the time to start playing this game and was wondering if anyone else has played it?

My initial response to playing the game (30 minutes)
is that there are way too many cut scenes. Dont get me wrong, it tells a pretty good story and I do like that myself, but I know there are game players out there that just want to play games.(not watch a movie)

The graphics are good, but nothing special in the actual game play (IMO). The cut scenes are pretty damn good though.

Now, of course I have only played it a total of 30 minutes now, and intend on giving it a full spin. ;)

Your thoughts or opinions? And can we please keep this on the subject of MGS3 and not other games or systems?

It's really really really hard. It's harder than Shinobi. It's also not as good as the orginal, or Twin Snakes for that matter.

It's not that hard once you get the hang of CQC or whatever it's called. At first its: WTF I can't even get close to guys. Then you figure out the system and it's pretty sweet. The final Boss is tough though.

CRAB BATTLE!
Counter balance the knife, quick slash, retract....

Sorry it was the CQC that pulled it out of me.
I loved that video.
