All of the art appears to be by the same artist, so for one person to be tagging walls in Philly, L.A., New York, Chicago, and San Francisco would be ridiculous. There is even a photo of one person tagging a wall and copying his design from a small grid printout in his hands. Check out the link above for photos and articles from various gaming news sites. They paint blood over the characters' eyes then some rhyming thing about how they'll never buy another sony product again.
But what's funny is if sony is actually paying the building owners to paint these murals, then the defacers are the only ones breaking any law. It's all stupid viral marketing anyway, sony sucks ass.
