Title: Collection Value Post by: CatchFiveBats on November 13, 2005, 06:31:26 PM I don't know if anyone else wants to do this, but I totalled up the value of all the games in my collection using the price guide in Video Game Collector, and it came to $3,558. Gamespot said somewhere around $12,500. Gamespot sucks.

I think my collection was valued around $20,000 or something like that. Highly doubtful but if anyone ever questions your collecting practices you can show them that and it will shut them up for a while.

A long time ago i wanted to see how much some of the rare games i knew about where worth so i checked by ading them to my IGN collection and they were worth 20$ a piece which discouraged me to realize the price system was just a boradbased value depending on certain variables. Mostly relating to age.
