Title: hoping to get a glass display case tomorrow Post by: thx1138 on July 05, 2004, 09:57:49 AM the charity shop (thrift store) that my wife volunteers at, has a new display unit, due to be installed in the morning. The old display unit is still quite servicable in my opinion, despite being a bit scratched up.
I've asked the manager if I may buy it for £5 or so, as I think it's going to be thrown away otherwise. Glass display cases are great. They keep the dust out and look awesome.

I have all of my calculators in it, and my hand held bandai. In the future I might fill it with hand held games. I have it "the wrong way round" i.e the side that the customer would have seen faces the wall, and the shelves below the cabinet face my games room so that I can use them. I'll post some photos later.
