Title: Question about inlays scans as manuals pictures Post by: Bear78 on April 25, 2018, 10:20:46 AM I'm pretty sure I've read in the past that if a newer game has an inlay with some form of instructions on it and no actual manual, that the inlay can be submitted as the manual picture on an entry. I just wanted to get some clarification and the official answer on this as I had a submission rejected. I was trying to submit the inlay for Gravity Rush 2 as the manual picture in this case. I understand that if the inlay is just artwork, it should just be a extra media submission.
Here is the inlay in question: https://app.box.com/s/jfoa985xzn2mnda5sk7g0ab2ln4b7s52 Also, here are some examples of inlays as manuals: Arms: http://www.rfgeneration.com/cgi-bin/getinfo.pl?ID=U-231-S-00130-A&type=ms Monster Hunter World: http://www.rfgeneration.com/cgi-bin/getinfo.pl?ID=U-215-S-06040-A&type=ms Not complaining or anything, just looking for the official answer Title: Re: Question about inlays scans as manuals pictures Post by: tactical_nuke on April 25, 2018, 01:33:17 PM I’ve always approved and submitted them as manuals as long as they have some form of instruction/warranty etc. If it’s just art, I’d add it as extra media. It’s another thing we haven’t decided on as a site policy. I’ll approve the Gravity Rush one if you want to resubmit.
