Title: Saw Sammy Hagar in concert Saturday night! Post by: den68 on August 08, 2005, 07:58:43 AM what a great show. Sammy played the first half with his band the Wabos and after a quick intermission did a set with Montrose. Montrose was the band he was in in the early 70's. Bad Motor Scooter, Rock Candy anyone? He also did a few Van Halen tunes.
he even played the theme from Fast Times at Ridgemont High which was a surprise. Also I've never seen a guy sign autographs while performing. Sammy signed everything that got passed up to the stage. I saw Sammy a few years ago and he does put on the best show. I wouldv'e loved to see Montrose.
