After my recent search for Tynstar which turned up i believe 35-40 games off of his Genesis and Sega CD want lists i figured i should ask this to everyone.

Would you buy games from me if i was able to find ones off your want list(s)?

Unfortunately this idea is born out of desperation and i don't have the money to buy the games in advance and wait for people to send money. The money would have to be sent up front for me to be able to purchase them.

If anyone does agree on this it would basically be this.
I get your want list.
Weed thru tons of games to find what i can
Get a approx. pricing on them (cheaper than individual pricing)
Let you know pricing info to you and if it is too much or you changed your mind then the list can be changed to get it into your price range.
After the kinks are worked out you send the money and i
go back and purchase games for you.

The only thing i haven't worked out yet is shipping... which is kinda the biggest thing there is. But i have boxes packing peanuts and bubble wrap so there isn't to much else i need.
Just have to figure out pricings...

As always suggestions, ideas, feedback welcome.

Yeah, I'd do that.  It doesn't look like you're going anywhere anytime soon, and if you did rip me off I wouldn't mind a road trip to New England.  ;)

I should be going back to the store this weekend to get Tynstars stuff.

Nope i wan not padding my sales.
I wanted to be fair and honest. Let you know what your actually paying for the game. I'm not goping to get them for a buck a piece and charging you 5 or more for it.
Maybe not the best buisness sense but i prefer to be honest to you guys rather than make a quick buck and then have to skirt around lies.

I assume people will send a fair amount of money to compensate for my gas & time.

In fact i will send the reciept with the games if people wanted them.

Like i said before the only thing i am not sure on is shipping prices and i should have that figured out after i ship out Tynstars stuff (please include extra cash for shipping i wouldn't want to buy the stuff and then not be able to get it to you.)

I've only got 5 games on my wishlist. if you can find any of those complete I'll gladly forward you the cash to grab them for me.

I think they may have one of those Pico games. I could be wrong though.
They may have Adventures in Letter Land with Jack & Jill and one of the guys there asked me if the guy i was buying stuff for wanted 32X games too because he had just got a few in.

So i will check thru those too.

one more thing i ask too. Please make a not of if you want a game comlpete or cart oly or anything like that.
But i am sure you all will anyways. :)

dont worry I will send money for shipping. I will weigh the same amount of games to get an idea of the cost. Then i will throw in some for you.

@Sauza i got your mesage.
There is a fair amount of DC games at this store so i will see what i can do for you. As i mentioned earlier the owner said he recently ot some complete 32X games in but i didn't get to look at them because i had to drive my grandpa home.

Also you guys looking for PS longbox games(i think only Sauza Den and me) i turned up a small stockpile last time i was there.
It looked like alot of the same more common stuff but you never know :)


Just thought i would add if anyone is looking for specific system stuff or strategy guides i can look into that too.
(I am pretty sure they have a CIB Pico Scott. It was between 20 and 30 bucks too :P)

I already know that most strat guides will be about 5-7 bucks though. I also know alot of you can find them cheaper at tagsales and thrift shops and such but i want to open up all avenues.

I want long boxes and well. But only if cheap.

I just want two games right now.  Both are for Sega CD.  Preferrably no more than $30.

@ Sauza i didn't get to do much looking around for you because i didn't print your list my Printer was acting screwy with and wasn't printing from the internet. But i am positive they have some of the games on your DC list.

@ CFB the owner laughed when i told hom you wanted the Lunar games for 30 bucks.
They didn't have them anyways.

That's reasonable.  A local (overcharging) store has a price of $45 on Lunar 1 and $55 on Lunar 2, so I figured it was worth a shot.  (I meant $30 for each, in case I didn't explain myself well enough.)  Thanks anyway!

Now...one more question...do they have any NGPC games?

$45 seems about right to me.

It probably is, but I figured that since this store that I saw it at for $45 overcharged for most things, maybe they were overcharging for that.  I guess not.

Btw, I haven't sent you my wantlist yet, because I'm running low on funds & need to refrain from buying anything until I'm back from vacation...and that'll be a while ;)

I have a price guide at home that is about 1 year old now. So i will cross referance with that when i get home.

Also the only NGPC game i can remember they have offhand is a new copy of Pac-man.
I am i think they have more though.

The Pacman is probably >20$. It is brand new too.

I tried to add some games and prices off memory to a new folder in my collection called Video Game Castle. Since i was on 56K and couldn't do anything else. I think i am going to try and keep doing this so in the future iit will be easier for people to see if i can  get a game they want/ As it stands now i have nowhere near enough in there to justify not going to the store and looking myself.

BTW CFB i cross checked with my price guide 65$ for Lunar 2 and 45$ for Lunar.
So that store was actually good on the pricings for that game.

I would love to have that Pac-Man, but make sure it has the little ring that goes on the NGPC joystick.  That's the only reason I want it brand new.

If they have any other NGPC games for reasonable prices (less than $20 CIB, less than $15 cart and clear case only), go ahead and let me know what they have.  Thanks!

Hey Tynstar i sent out those games today media mail like you said.
They told me it would be 8 days delivery time.

I almost had a heart attack when the lady said 35 dollars.... priority.
I she took WAY to long to add that last part.

Sauza i went thru the DC stuff they had out today and added what i found to the Video Game Castle folder in my collection.

I only took down the stuff on your want list though there was other stuff. Also i think some of their prices are kinda outta date. Note $27.95 for NBA Hoopz.
So get a list of games together outta there and i will see if i can get you a better deal from those prices.
Or get a list together and give me the highest your willing to go on each game or a group of games.

CFB they did have some other NeoGeo Pocket Color games their i had Pac Man listed already fo >$20 but it turns out it is actually marked for $30 which i again could try and do some talking down of the price.

Whenever possible (no rush), I would like to know what kind of prices you can get me on these games:

Pac-Man (Sealed or CIB.  CIB has to have the joystick ring with it.)
Neo Turf Masters
Biomotor Unitron
Fatal Fury: First Contact
King of Fighters R-2
Neo Geo Cup '98 Plus

Also, for any games that are not CIB, I would like to have the cartridge AND the clear case.  I know, I know, I'm picky...but I don't want you to go buy something, mail it to me, and then find out it's not what I wanted.  That would be quite bad.

I can see if they have any of those extra plastic cases if you need some. Those would probably be really cheap 10-25 cents a piece tops.
I think they have them i know they have some gameboy and gamegear ones.

Don't worry about buying the clear cases, I don't have any games that are missing them.  Also, just the game and the plastic case is fine by me.  I'm trying to go for a complete collection of NGPC games (cart and clear case only), so if any of the games are less than $10, I would love to buy those, but if they're more expensive than that don't worry about it.  I can buy them off eBay for less than $10 if I want.  I'd just much rather buy them from/through someone I know.

Ran across Knuckles Chaotix and Kolibri today.
I know Den needs both.
Didn't check for manuals, sorry. But i am going to go on a wild guess and say they have them.
I asked the guy to hold them for me so let me know if you guys are interested and i will call monday and ask if they have manuals.

I asked him to reserve them for me just in case but other wise he is going to stick them both up in a lot together on eBay with some other games.(per my advice)

If you guys would rather take your chances on eBay let me know and i will get the name of the guy putting them up for auction so you can search for them.

how much? and yeah, find out if they have manuals. I'm assuming they have boxes?

Based on the box and cart art i have seen for those i can say with 99% assurednes that my shop does not have those games.

I can still add them to a games to check list but i don't hold much hope for those 3.

I don't know how I missed this thread the first time around, but, yeah, I'd trust ya!  The games in my want list are all current titles, though, and I'd prefer to fill in some of my older stuff.  I haven't really added anything to my wish list older than PS2, from what I remember.  I'll put a mini list together and get back with you.

BTW, how old is too old when it comes to requesting a title?  Atari 2600 too old?

They do have some Coleco and 2600 stuff.
Don't expect anything spectacular outta that bunch.

In anycase yes the game is on the way.
Yes the shipping came to around 2$s more than i thought.

And no i do not go to the "post office".
It is an extension of the post office(same place i sent you all your stuff from Scott.) since the main office is downtown and around 30-40 mins away depending on traffic and my navigation skills.

Oh cool. I use one of those places to do all my overseas mailings. Plus the place where it is at sells used, CD, movies and games.

I want genesis games dont care if they are boxed or loose (the cases go under my bed as I cant fit them in my cabinet anyway)
Have a big list, about hundred wanted so take a look and let me know, like wise I will get genesis games for you if you like, dont really care to look at any other system, but I have 19 game crazy's within half an hour from me and a few other good stores. If its not on my collection list then chances are I do not know where there is a copy, as I would own it! But Most games I have decent recollection of where and if I have seen any spares. I have a bit of spare time and money on my hands thats why san diego is dry of anything new for me in the genesis department

well I take that back! I traded a few games with someone and put them in the mail today and I looked at everyones trade list and contacted a few people to see what they want for some of the trades they have.
