Since we've made a list for all the NES & related books, I decided to start a NES VHS tapes list for Tricks & Tips tapes, cartoon tapes related to the NES era such as SMB/Zelda, etc..let me know if any of you have any VHS tapes for/relative to the NES not listed here:

Yea, I didn't add it in there because it would take up a lot of space...but if it comes down to it, I don't mind adding it in there...I'll do it tomorrow though, pretty late over here...bed time for me ;)

Jesus Speedy, you sure do enjoy undertaking monumental tasks don't you?  ;)

:) Well, I like documenting & collecting those aspects of video game collections that many people do not & therefore have not yet been documented on the web or in books.  I could aim for a complete boxed NES collection, just to sit in the same ranks as those who have done just that in the past.   My aim is to get a complete collection of something that nobody else has yet, or is less likely to have ;)  I still want to collect video games, so I decided to just collect as much video game related stuff as possible :)  Accessories/Books/VHS/other merchandise...although the latter will be hard, since there is so much other merchandise out there including some really rare & expensive stuff.  ;)  The nice thing about collecting these video game related items is that some of them are also extremely rare to come across, and at the moment there is little demand for most of these items in particular, so now I can get ahold of many of them for prices that will likely rise in the future when collectors finish their game collections and want to start getting all the video game related stuff as well.  ;)

I also think that if we get these lists running in the database here sooner or later, that we'll be the only place on the web with this [detailed] info + pics (I have most of this stuff scanned)...so that would be an added benefit for the site & hopefully attracts more collectors to the site ;)

You may want to remove the 2 Double Dragon cartoons. I watched both last night and they are based on Double Dragon V: The Shadow Falls. This game was on the SNES and Genesis.

the Shield of Shadow Khan features about 5 minutes of game tips at the beginning.

Whoa, I've actually got one of those vids, SMB Show - King Mario of Cramalot. No idea where I got it from though.

There are 2 Game P{layers Vol. 1 No.1 tapes.

One is by Signal Research Video Publication and has Double Dragon Super Mario Bros. Castlevania II and Ninja Gaiden.

The other one is a Signal/ABC Video Publication and has Double Dragon Milon's Secret Castle Bionic Commando Robot Warrior and a bonus quick look at Wizards & Warriors.


All of the Game Player's Series tapes in theory should have one variation.
One will be Game Player's Gametape for Nintendo Cartridges.(I assume the newer versions since it also has ABC on the production info.)
The other will be Game Player's Nintendo Series Gametape.

Thanks Anthony!  I've added the variation to the list, do you have pics of that Game Player's Nintendo Series Gametape(s)?  I think you may have something very rare there, cuz I've never seen or heard of those before.  I'll take a look over mine again, but I'm pretty sure mine are all part of the Game Player's Gametape for Nintendo Cartridges series.

I will give you all the info i have off my tapes so you can add it liek you did with the first 2 Volume 1. No 1s.

The only Game Player's Nintendo Series Gametape i have is Vol. 1 No. 1 so maybe that was the only one made before the Signal/ABC combined?
