Only included are officially licensed games. Variants are also not included. These numbers are the North American libraries. I'd be interested in comparing numbers from Japan / Europe as well but this data doesn't seem easily accessible in its entirety. I
NES - 676 (I don't count Stadium Events so take that as you will) SNES - 720 N64 - 296 GC - 558 Wii - 968? Wii U - In Progress GB - 506 GBC - 445 VB - 14 GBA - 1044? DS - 1589? 3DS - In Progress The numbers with a "?" were just taken from NintendoAge. Not sure how accurate they are but it's a starting point. Anyone else have better / different numbers? I combed through the RFGEN database and came up with 505 licensed, non-variant releases.

MetalFRO, you may be thinking some of the Players Choice variants are PC variants, but some were released as PC only. For instance, The Smurfs and Mickey Mouse: Magic Wands! (though Magic Wands is incorrectly in our database with a base version). |
