Title: European NES games (CIC lockout region " Post by: thx1138 on May 22, 2005, 07:39:33 AM Don't know the correct terminology for this stuff. European NES carts, that won't work on a PAL British (and if I am right, Italian and Australian???) machines.
I have; Lolo Kid Icarus NES Open Mario & Yoshi Teenage blah Turtles S. Mario 2 Duck tales 2 Kickle Cubicle Goal I've also got, what I think is a Dutch NES. With cosmetic damage. I've tried pluggin it in to British mains with a shaving adapator, and get blinking light syndrome. That would be my "educated" guess since I have a bunch of PAL B games from around here (Benelux & Germany). I would be interested, but I should really finish my NTSC NES collection before I continue with my PAL collection otherwise I'll never finish anything ;) What prices did you have in mind tho for these games?
-Speedy P.S. I also have some games that, even though they have the German code on the label, have a message that they will only play on the Mattel version (instead of a PAL B console)...confusing... |
