Title: Sega Saturn help!! Post by: jtxgamer on June 13, 2015, 01:27:31 AM To all of you with Sega Saturns that play imports, I need your help! I just bought Enemy Zero, the Japanese version, because the US one was $80 and the Japanese one is only $8. And I have a Memory Card Plus. Which to my understanding would allow me to play imports. However it just says "Cartridge is unsuitable for this system" and if I try to put the disc in after the console is on it says "Game disc is unsuitable for this system". So does this mean these carts don't actually work that way? It saves fine. Just wont boot imports. Although I did have it not delete saves once when I tried to clear it. But the saves that are on it are ones I saved. I would like to get a AR 4 in 1 eventually but I don't have the money right now.

But this guy could do it with the Memory card plus Title: Re: Sega Saturn help!! Post by: Razor Knuckles on June 13, 2015, 06:23:11 PM As I am aware from my personal experience the Memory Card Plus is not what you are looking for to have a region free Saturn. You want to seek out a Action Replay 4M Plus to play region free games.
You want the Memory card pictured on the right, not the left. This guy still did it somehow. I know his isn't exactly that one, but its still a MC plus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNRFCa0QVrM Title: Re: Sega Saturn help!! Post by: Duke.Togo on June 13, 2015, 07:57:36 PM Every time that guy blows on the cart I want to punch him.
Keep in mind that the Saturn cart port is extremely touchy, and there are multiple makers of these Memory Card Plus carts. I'd make sure that your Saturn recognizes the cart as a memory cart first to be sure it is working. Then move on from there. Title: Re: Sega Saturn help!! Post by: nupoile on June 13, 2015, 08:14:05 PM This probably isn't much help to you right now but I have one of these and it works fine to play imports:
